Delivery policy

Introduction

This policy contains details of the delivery methods, periods and charges that apply to orders for our products made through our website, by telephone and email.

Delivery time

We aim to deliver our log cabins within 20 to 22 weeks once an order has been placed and paid. If a product is in stock, the delivery times are significantly shorter.

Free delivery

We can arrange delivery to all areas of New Zealand. Prices vary depending on the specific cabin purchased. (Please see our delivery map.) Please contact us for pricing on all deliveries.

We deliver our cabins for an extra 6% of the total purchase price to “Zone one”
We deliver our cabins for an extra 8% of the total purchase price to “Zone two”
We deliver our cabins for an extra 12% of the total purchase price to “Zone three”
We deliver our cabins for an extra 14% of the total purchase price to “Zone four”

Delivery procedure

As a rule, we deliver your log cabin or a wood fire hot tub in a six-wheeled delivery truck or trailer. It arrives with a forklift so we can unload your log cabin or other product as soon as it reaches your desired location. In order for this to occur, we need sufficient space for the forklift to manoeuvre. If you have questions regarding space required, please contact us on +64 27 265 8586.

It is important that we know there is enough space for the forklift. If this is not the case, manual unloading will be required which will need to be charged extra.

Please be specific about the most convenient spot for us to offload your log cabin. We make every effort to comply. Be aware, though, that, due to the weight of the forklift, we may not always be able to place your cabin exactly where you want it.

You or your designated representative must be on site when the cabin is delivered so you can help with the offloading.

The phone number you place in the contact phone box when ordering your log cabin must be one where we can reach you during working hours before and on the day of the delivery. Our staff will contact you within 48 hours once an order has been placed and paid for. They will contact you again approximately five days before delivery, giving you as accurate a delivery schedule as possible. Your log cabin will not simply arrive unless you have been contacted first.

Our log cabins come packed in a weatherproof packaging. The parts can be stored outside for up to 4 weeks before you construct your log cabin.

If you feel that delivery on a smaller vehicle would be more appropriate, please don’t hesitate to contact us. However, as the smaller vehicles are not able to carry a forklift, the driver would require sufficient assistance with unloading the cabin.

Other information

We will usually be able to deliver to the following countries and territories: New Zealand, Norfolk Island, New Caledonia, Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Australia, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Palau, Northern Mariana Islands, Christmas Island, Indonesia, Brinei, Philippines.
We may also agree to delivery products to other countries and territories.

Delivery charges will be calculated by our website and automatically applied to your order during the checkout process.

All deliveries must be received in person at the delivery address or by an appointed person, and a signature must be provided.

If your products remain undelivered despite our delivery service provider making at least 1 attempt to deliver them, the delivery service provider or we will send you a note, with instructions on how you may collect your products, including a time limit for collection or we may agree to arrange for re-delivery of the products, however, we reserve the right to charge you for the actual costs of re-delivery even where the initial delivery was free of charge.

An indicative list of the situations where a failure to deliver will be your fault is set out below: a) you provided the wrong address for delivery; b) there is a mistake in the address for delivery that was provided; c) the address for delivery is not reasonably accessible; d) the address for delivery cannot safely be accessed; e) there is no person available at the address for delivery to accept delivery and provide a signature.
